Koocheh-Nezamieh historical building in Tehran
The old mansion of Koocheh-Nezamieh were built during the First Pahlavi era and it is located in Tehran, Baharestan Square, Shahid Hassan Asalat Alley. This mansion has been registered as one of Iran's national monuments.

During Qajar era some of wealthy people started a new way to show how rich they were. A good way to reach this goal was building luxury houses in Iran. The two brothers of Hamedanian started their first organized charity in 1332 with the establishment of a school. Hamedanian brothers built some factories and employed huge number of people during their time. Not only these brothers employed vast majority of people of Isfahan in that time, but also, as a reward they would send some of best workers and their family on a trip to stay at a luxury hotel in Iran.

Official and local information about Isfahan's population has been generally unavailable in past, with both Iranians and Europeans complaining about lack of reliable information. (Morier, p. 110) The demographics presented for the Qajar era are very different and are largely based on speculation by European diplomats.

Naqshe-Jahan Sugar Factory was another industrial activity of Hamedanian brothers. Until 1936, the sugar industry was a state-owned monopoly. After this date, the Supreme Economic Council agreed to the freedom of establishment of the factory by the private sector. It also borrowed from the surplus value of banknotes to set up a sugar factory. In February of 1939,
