Forough Al-Molk's historical house in Iran

A house that we are to introduce you among the historical houses of Iran is the house of Forough Al-Molk. This beautiful and historic house is also known as the Meshkin-fam Museum. This historical monument was built in 1310 by the son-in-law of the famous Ghavam, namely Mr. Forough Al-Molk Ghavami.

The land allocated for the construction of this house has an area of 1020 square meters.

When Forough Al-Molk started to build this house, he intended to build a building with a residential use, and he never thought that his house, which was once the only place where he could take refuge from all the world in, has now become a museum. This is true that this old house in Iran was not a luxury boutique hotel in Iran, but in many ways, it helped a lot of people. This historic building has a guardhouse, kitchen, royal residence, interior, exterior, pool house, bathroom and many other parts.

Forough Al-Molk's house has 3 floors and an underground floor. In the northern and southern parts of this mansion, there are also two rooms with five doors.

The royal residence of the building is connected to the inside of the house by an octagonal house pond.

There are Zandiyeh-style designs on the roofs of this house. This historical house residence in Iran was nationally registered in 1998 and was among the historical houses of Shiraz.

Forough Al-Molk's house is used to show and display the works of the Meshkin-fam family in 3 generations, as well as the works of other artists from Fars province.

In this museum house in Iran, some of the works that have been exhibited have been given to this collection by different owners.

Tavakoli House in Shiraz

Another historical house in Shiraz that we should mention in this article is Tavakoli House. This house also were built during the Qajar era, following other historical buildings and houses in Shiraz. The house has a central courtyard with a mansion on all four sides.

Among the things that have made this building beautiful are wooden decorations, faucets, ceilings, doors, colored tiles and brickwork. This historic building was nationally registered in 2000.
