ROOMS

Is there handicapped access to Kianpour’s Historical House?

Unfortunately no.There are stairs at the entrance.

Is there a minibar within the rooms?

Not a minibar as-such. But there is a mini-fridge including bottles of water, and some other refreshments in each room.

Does each room and suite include a private bathroom?

Do all rooms have air-conditioning?

Yes, all rooms have underfloor heating, and external cooling unit.

RESERVATION

Can non-married foreigner couples stay in the same room?

Based on the instructions from the National tourism office, non-married foreigner couples can stay in the same room without any problem.

Do I need to make a deposit in order to confirm my reservation?

No, a confirmation email would suffice.

How can I reserve a room and check availability?

This can be done through the reservation system on our home page.

HOW TO GET HERE

How far is Kianpour’s Historical House from Isfahan international airport, Kâveh bus station and Isfahan train station?

It is
– 5km from Kâveh bus station
– 21km from Isfahan train station
– 29km from Isfahan airport

Do you have a shuttle service to and from Isfahan airport? What is the rate?

This needs to be arranged in advance. The rates vary based on the number of passengers, the vehicle, and the pick-up time.

ONSITE SERVICES

Is it possible to hold a party/conference/meeting at Kianpour’s Historical House?

Yes. Please make prior arrangements for this. Please note that entrance of outside visitors is strictly forbidden unless you inform us in advance.

Do you have onsite parking?

No, but there is a parking lot nearby where your car is safely kept at your own expense.

Is room service offered? What are the hours?

Yes, the room service and housekeeping services are available until 10 p.m.

Is there a safe box at the reception?

Yes, but it is only for small objects or personal documents.

Can I use an onsite computer?

No, you will need to use your own device.

Is there wireless Internet access?

Yes, the WIFI connection is free.

GENERAL RULES

Can I bring pets?

No. Due to the historical aspects of our residence, pets are not allowed.

Can I smoke in the rooms,or the courtyard?

Smoking inside the courtyard is allowed, however please ask for an ashtray. It is, however, strictly prohibited to smoke indoors.

Can I have visitors during my stay?

Please note that entrance of non-guests to our site is strictly prohibited unless you inform us prior to their arrival. If your visitor wants to join you at your room, they will be asked to provide an ID at the reception.

Can I buy/bring my food from outside?

No, bringing meals to your room and other indoor areas of the residence is strictly forbidden.

Is my ID/passport required at check in?

Yes, you need to provide a valid ID or passport at the time of check-in.

What is the policy on cancellation/deposit/modification?

There is no need for a deposit if your booking is made from outside of Iran. If you reserve the room when you are in Iran, a deposit is required (contact us by phone for more information). You can also modify or cancel your reservation free of charge no later than 48 hours before your arrival.

What are the check in and check out times?

Check-in is from 2 p.m. and check-out is before noon.

BREAKFAST

What type of breakfast do you offer?

Typical Iranian breakfast including bread, cheese, marmalade, butter, honey, fruit and juice, egg (boiled, omelets, fried) with tea or coffee.

Is there the chance of an early-departure breakfast?

Yes, but please inform us at least 24 hrs in advance.

What are the breakfast hours?

From 8 to 9:30 a.m.

Does the room rate include breakfast?

The room rate is inclusive of all taxes. Breakfast is complimentary.

RESTAURANT

Is there a coffee shop?

There is no permanent coffee shop. However, you can order tea, coffee, and some other light snacks and enjoy a book in the serenity of the porch or the courtyard.

Do you have a permanent restaurant?

No, the kitchen only functions on demand. To ask for lunch, you will need to place an order before 11 a.m. and for dinner the order has to be made before 7 p.m.

Which type of food is served by your kitchen?

Our meals are all homemade using the best organic ingredients.

TOURISTIC SERVICES

Can I buy a guidebook or map of the city at the reception?

We do not sell guidebooks but free maps are available at reception.

How can I reach IKA, Imam Khomeini International Airport, from Isfahan?

There are shuttle buses to and from Kâveh bus station (about 5km from the residence) to IKA. You can book your ticket at the reception upon arrival.

Can I buy a cell phone SIM card from Kianpour’s Historical House?

No, but you can buy PAYG IranCell SIM cards at the Airport or from shops in town.

Can I book a bus/plane/train ticket before my arrival?

Yes, but please inform us of that as soon as possible.

Are there English, French or Germantour guides? What are the rates?

Yes, you can ask for a tour guide by email or on arrival. The rates vary depending on the seasons.

Can I reserve a taxi?

Yes, this can be done at reception.

PAYMENT

What currency is used to make payments?

Rials, Euros and/or U.S. Dollars are accepted.

How can I pay for my room?

Only by cash or Iranian bank/ATM/debit cards.

Can the payment be made before arrival?

This is only possible if you reserve the room from inside Iran. It is not very convenient to transfer money from overseas. It is much easier to make a payment on arrival or departure, at your convenience.

If you leave something behind, the item will be kept in our ‘lost and found’. It is also possible for us to send it to you by through DHL at your expense.
